With the "Disability Project", Aero Gravity opens the doors of flight to people with disabilities, turning a dream into reality. Our goal is simple but powerful: to make flight possible, accessible and fun for everyone, always putting the person and their needs at the center. To bring this vision to life, we have relied on the great professionalism of our staff and collaboration with Associazione Obiettivo Volare, which in 2017 brought Andrea Pacini to Aero Gravity, Paralympic Athlete, project manager and the only active Italian paraplegic skydiver, with over 450 jumps to his credit.
Thanks to the partnership with Gruppo Humantech, a leader in the orthopedics sector in Italy, we have also developed specific aids for indoor flight, designed to guarantee safety and comfort for people with motor disabilities. To date, we have made over 1,000 people with disabilities fly — motor, sensory and intellectual. Each experience is preceded by a personalized evaluation, so as to find the most suitable solution and allow each participant to experience the flight safely and peacefully.
Numerous sports and social promotion associations have chosen to give this unforgettable experience to their members. Among the most significant collaborations we remember Special Olympics Italy and the multiple world champion in blind water skiing Daniele Cassioli. In recent years, the discipline of indoor flight is growing rapidly in visibility, also thanks to international events and programs dedicated to young people: in fact, it is possible to start flying from the age of 4.

Our commitment has also found space in international contexts. We were part of the European project #Windtunnelhandifly, promoted by the French Parachuting Federation and co-financed by Erasmus+ Sport, which involved over 15 wind tunnels worldwide. The project concluded with the first Handifly Race in France in 2022, an international indoor skydiving competition reserved for athletes with disabilities, which was attended by 56 athletes from different countries. Since then, the movement has been continuously growing: international championships are held every year and in 2026 the Handifly Race will officially debut at the World Cup in France, thanks to the official recognition of the category by F.A.I.. The Italian delegation of Aero Gravity Disability Project has already written important pages: in 2021 we won the world Handiflyrace title with Marco Pisani, the bronze medal with Emanuele Valenza and the award for best female athlete with Veronica Raineri. With the Disability Project, flight is not just an experience, but a symbol of inclusion, challenge and freedom.
